Tigress of Deben is a central cockpit Victory 40 yacht designed by van de Stadt a well known Dutch yacht designer. The hull was built by Tylers of Tonbridge, Kent.. She was then fitted out to the unique design of the first owner by Aberdour Marine Limited, Scotland in 1973

She has a cutter/ketch rig with mainsail, genoa, staysail and mizzen. She is GRP with a long keel and is powered by a Perkins 4236, 4litre, 62hp engine. We bought heras third owners in the summer of 2004 from a boatyard in Lefkas, Greece. Since then we have upgraded her electronics and computer systems and have added a Hydrovane wind self-steering gear, auto pilot, and a wind turbine! She is now ready for a blue water passage.
